LAVAGRIGIA This volcanic rock erupted from the Cimino mountain vulcano (Viterbo) about 1 to 1.5 million years ago. It was produced by the cooling of the liquid lava and provides the basis of an ignimbrite. Thanks to the high temperature at which it forms and to the slow cooling process it has a even structure and is highly compact, two features that ensure excellent physical-mechanical characteristics in relation to its use as a natural construction material.

USE AND APPLICATIONS. The huge Vitorchiano (VT) deposits guarantee a constant standard both in terms of the stone's technical and aesthetic characteristics.
It can be used for practically all stone products. Pavements and drives, claddings, ventilated claddings and all products.

PARTICULAR FEATURES. This stone is extracted from deep quarries and is the maximum expression of the common Peperino for its optimum aesthetic aspect and greater mechanical performance.
Breaking load: 550 kg /cm2. Its chromatic and mechanical values are absolutely constant through all production processes.
